Cross Country

Sliding threw the slippery mud I jogged my hardest trying to keep up with my friend Dante. She was coming first and then she slowed down coming 5th. I knew if I stopped somebody will run pass me so I never stopped.

Mud splashed every where on my body I felt sticky and gooey. I huffed and puffed trying to brief properly. My heart was pumping like I was gong to die. My face looked looked like a lion as I running towards miss king. I wanted to stop but I just ran.

My legs almost clasped but I was determined to strive so I keep on going. I was happy to see every one cheering me on. My legs was filled with goose bumps and my face was getting red. I was so shy  I almost fell over. But  I still managed to keep my head held up and  I still ran.

As I started my second lap I started to past my class mates. It looked like they were gong to faint. I was proud of my self because even dough my legs were tired I never gave up. I was covered in mud. My legs was so sour and my face looked tired. I never came first place but  I was lucky enough to come 8th place.

Reflection Love

Turuhira, Kimberly, Dante and I created a movie that was about Best friends. We chose a song called Oath by Cher Lloyd. Its one of the best songs about friendship. we all decided that it would be entertaining having a fun and funky music that has no swearing or other bad lyrics in it.

So we decided to take fast shots so each clip won’t be boring, We also used Mr Liufau to be a teacher because he is good at acting and funny to watch. The clips flowed well with the music and everything connected.

Our movie was not about love but It was about friendship. 

Sadly we needed to add more detail to our clips like lip singing and making the video more clear so everyone can see what actually happened.

Fakaalofa lahi Atu My Name is Sesalina  and I am a year 8 student at pt england school. Here are the things I need to work harder on. I need to run harder and try to beat My regular time.  I also need to Improve my reading skills as well as maths. I  have to work on my attitude and be responsible and I have to focus on my learning and what I can do better. I hope next term will be awesome.

200 Word Narrative

Mary had a beautiful cow who would follow her everywhere. But there was a huge problem! The Evil Queen of Storybrooke wanted her cow very badly, in order to make the biggest burger. Secretly Mary had her own plan which was to hide the cow.

Meanwhile the Evil Queen cried and cried, “WHERE IS SHE, FIND HER” The evil Queen shouted at her slaves. Rushing to the forest the Slaves went off looking for Mary and the Cow, but they were nowhere to be seen.

Walking thru the forest Mary suddenly saw a man, He came up to her and lifted her into to a humongous cage. She screamed and screamed, but nobody came.

The Queen’s slaves took the cow when he was in a big field eating grass. Mary was put into a room where she could see her cow be turned into a large burger. It smelled like dead flesh. There were heaps of cows going in the machine.

A man gave mary a key to escape. She opened the door and quickly got the cow. The Queen ran up to Mary and pushed her. Mary threw queen into the machine where she was turned into a burger.

The unexpected broken ankle

Once upon a time there was a girl named Emily playing on the park. Everyday Emily would walk to the playground with her friends. Emily and her friends would always swing on the monkey bars. But one day while she was swinging on the monkey bars and jumped off. On the way home Emily felt something strange in her ankle. She asked her mum “what is wrong with my ankle!”. Emily’s mother didn’t know and so they went to the doctors. Because of that the doctor said that she has an unexpected broken ankle. Ever since, her friends asked her if she wanted to play at the monkey bars she would have to refuse because her ankle needed more rest.

The moral of the story is to be careful of what you’re doing!

Fireworks

Once upon a time there lived a man that loved fireworks and his name was Rob.

Every day Rob would walk outside in the dark and stare at everybody’s fireworks.

But one day there was a box that was delivered to Rob’s house. It was a box filled with fireworks from his family that lived in the south Islands. Because of that those were the  most dangerous fireworks in the world.

Also a song was released on fireworks day by Katy Perry named Fireworks. Rob was the person who had recently written this song. Rob was invited to tour with Katy on her California Dreams tour. He was living the high life, enjoying each moment. Until finally Rob became best friends with Katy Perry. Ever since, Rob and Katy finally got married together.

The moral of the story is you can do anything in your life.

Family Trip

Once upon a time on a sunny day, Zak and his family wanted to go on a family trip to disneyland. Every morning to the afternoon they sold buns at botany mall next to KiwiYo to make money so  they could have enough dollars to book a flight to disneyland. Because of that a thief who likes buns took them all. Zak and his family had nothing to eat, What could they do now?So they thought hard about who would love hot buns! Until finally they thought of one thing, their little sister loved buns. They searched everywhere until they found the hot buns under the little sisters bed. Her family was very cross at her and left her at her aunt's house. The family had heaps of fun at disneyland while the little girl did chores at her aunt's house.

The Moral of the Story: is to not steal or you would regret it.

Learning To Fly

Once upon a time there was a girl named Kelly who loved to fly. Everyday she would wake up and fly around the neighbourhood. Her wings were as shiny as raindrops on spider webs. But one day a witch cast a spell on her because she was too beautiful. Because of that she became ugly and her wings fell off.  After that kelly began to sob and sob, her wings were her life. Being able to fly gave her freedom. Now she was wingless. She is now unable to fly. Until finally she lifted her arms and started to fly once more. Ever since Dante knew how to fly and achieved her dreams......

The moral of the story is to keep trying and never give up.

The Ghost

Once upon a time there was a haunted house right next door to Emily who was very curious about this house. Everyday Emily walked past the house next door and she would always see many strange things. Because of that Emily asked her mum, who was living there. Because of that her mum told her a little story about the haunted house. Because of that Emily got really scared and never walked past the house again. Until Finally she called the Ghostbusters and they came and burned the house down. Ever since Emily has become a celebrity in her town and is training to join the ghost busters.

The Moral of the story is ask for help if you are scared of something.

Lilly just moved into a house near a big forest, every morning was so frosty and freezing cold. There was a door at the end of the hallway, but it couldn’t open. One morning Lilly went to explore the garden. It looked so magical, everything shimmered and shone brightly. Lily stood on something hard, she looked and found a key on frosty grass. What could this open? She whispered to herself. Suddenly she ran to the locked door in the hallway and tried the key. “YAY! it fits!” she shouted with joy, however she was left wondering, what wa inside.

Sponge-bob Story

On a sunny day Patrick and Spongebob went to the beach. “Wooo”! Spongebob yelled as he surfed his way threw the wave, 2 second later he fell with a big splash!

Patrick saw Spongebob from the distance. “Oooo”! Patrick watched spongebob while he shook his head and closed his eyes competitively.

He knew a very good idea, “Apply The Sauce” Patrick qwerted the glue to his feet and board with a big smile on his face so he won’t fall.

Dog surfing Narrative.

How could Milo surf he wasn’t a good surfer like his owner, he was just a dog who like sleeping and eating all day.

One day Milo’s Owner called Dante wanted to go surfing, He was a professional surfer. He surfed one of the biggest waves in Australia. Milo didn’t really care about surfing but his owner wanted to train milo. “WOOF” Milo barked at his owner, he didn’t want to go near the ocean he just wanted to be left alone.

While Milo was sleeping his owner grabbed him and threw him in the car boot. His owner drove quickly to the beach. Milo cried and cried! As soon as they got to the beach Dante opened the door, Milo sprinted out like a zombie. “Milo why are you scared” Dante said in a soft voice! “WOOF WOOF WOOF” Milo barked loudly at his owner.

My Maths

The Black Hole

Zak was staring at the photocopier waiting and waiting for his papers to copy, when suddenly a piece of paper came out of the photocopier he was so happy. Hey this doesn’t belong to me he shouted angrily at the broken machine. Zak threw his pencil at the strang paper but his pencil disappeared into the  black large circle shape which was on the piece of paper, he was freaked out he didn’t know what to do next!

Strangely Zak stared at the paper for 40 seconds. He looked at the time it was 2.09am he was so scared he was about to cry. Zak wondered if he could get his pencil back so he put his hand in the black hole and grabbed his  pencil. Hey that wasn’t bad at all so he decided to steal some chocolate from the vending machine, As he put the paper on the vending machine he grabbed to bars of Picnic. Zak didn’t know what to do next.

For two minutes Zak was thinking a lot and he came up with a idea. He sprinted with excitement  towards a lock door which was guarded to protect the safe that had a lot of money inside. His face was happier than a clown's face. As he got to the door he placed the black hole on the door and stuck his hand threw. Zak turned the doorknob  from inside the room and it slowly opened.

Zack walked like he was rich towards the safe and taped the paper on the safe small door. His hand went frew the safe grabbing millions of dollars. He kept getting more and more money. He reached in to see if there was more gold he was so greedy. He then climbed into the safe and his whole body was stuck because the paper dropped as he was getting in.

A few years latter some mens were going to get the money. They were thinking a lot because the money was not in the safe it was outside of the little bank. The mens opened the safe But in stead of the finding money they found Zak’s dead body in the safe.

Dr Ben Carson

Ben Carson Was born in Detroit Mexico, When Ben Carson was young everybody called him dummy. Ben Carson had a bad temper and was very violent. Sonia his mother was thirteen when she got married she had two jobs.

Sonia told Ben and his brothers to do their homework before watching television and they even had to write two book reports about the stories they had read every week.
Ben Carson Was struggling with his school work. When he finished reading all his books and his written book report he was at the top of his class when he had astonished his class mates.

Pt England School Picnic

On a beautiful windy and cloudy Friday Pt England school decided to go down to Pt England reserve for a swim and to have a nice picnic with our friends. When we got to the reserve I was looking forward to go for a swim, Elizabeth and I started getting ready for when its our turn for a swim, then we got to take same awesome photo’s with the camera first we went down to the beach and took some video’s of the year1 making clay and sand castles. After that me and Elizabeth started covering our selves in sand Elizabeth looked like a chubby mermaid and she had shell’s all over her.

Then it was our turn for a swim I rushed and got my tall and sprinted in to the ocean I was splashing with excitement I dived under the water trying to be a beautiful mermaid. I saw Jessica lifting people on her shoulder’s I really wanted a turn so I went to her she told me to jump on her shoulder’s and I did when she lifted me up I was so scared I jumped off her back doing a big bomb in to the water and I went all the way to the ground. when I stood back up I started doing free style racing with Elizabeth I was winning. When Mr Burt “said you have 1 more minute’’
I started diving into the water and jumping on my friends shoulders trying to make the most of my time I started to look for nice rocks so when I come back from school I can make something out of it. I went on top of the big rock that Mr Harris was standing on. Then I slided of the rock and fell back into the water. Then Mr Burt said it’s time to get out of the water then I sprinted out of the water like lighting and got my tell and dried up.


After that I went and had a worm shower I was trying to get the sand of f my hair and got changed. It was lunch time I got out my sandwiches and went to get some fruit from Mr J. I was so disappointed at Osana because she wouldn’t let me have turn on the camera because she had like A whole hour on it but She was always kind to me so I let her have it for the whole day.

Then it was time for karaoke Elizabeth had a turn she was laughing and it was funny I was to shy to go up in front of every body. Rita was the only brave one there she stood up in thront of every body and started singing and clapping she was so good at this.

The Beach

On a windy and cloudy day, we went out to the beach I had goose bumps all over my hands I was shivering like i was frozen!!!
The sky turned gray and the waves came in a big rush like it was going to flood, and likely I had big warm jumper on me.
my teeth were chattering and my body was shaking but my toes were touching the warm sand!! sand keeps blowing in to my eyes so hardly that I cant see any more!!!!
